About NWCA

Who We Are

We are a growing group of professional health care providers who feature cranio-sacral therapy, cranial therapy, cranial osteopathy and biodynamic cranial work to help patients find relief.

Our supporters include medical doctors, osteopaths, chiropractors, naturopaths, acupuncturists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, massage therapists, mental health care providers and more.

As an association, we work in two spheres.  One, to promote public awareness and education about cranial therapies.  Two, to provide a forum for professionals from diverse branches of cranial training to meet and advance their skills.

Our Mission

To improve the health of the general public by providing cranial therapeutics education and resources for practitioners and the public.
To serve the public by :
a) uniting cranial therapists from diverse backgrounds with one another.
b) connecting cranial work professionals to those in need of medical services via free or low cost medical clinics.
c) connecting cranial professionals to volunteer opportunites at fundraisers for other non-profits supporting health in our communities.

We educate the public about the benefits of cranial work by serving as volunteers at public lectures, health care clinics and fundraisers for other non-profit organizations.

Our History

The Northwest Cranial Association (NWCA) began in 2007 with the intent of serving the public and providing a forum to unite cranial therapists. The founders felt a need to enhance communication and skill sharing among the various branches of the cranial tree. This serves the public by improving the knowledge and skill of practitioners as well as providing opportunities for the public to receive the benefits of cranial therapeutics directly. We are 501(c)3 organization and look forward to growing our membership in the coming years.
