The Northwest Cranial Association is an organization of practitioners committed to fostering the acceptance of different schools of thought in cranial therapeutics. Our ideal is to learn from one another through the experiences that we have had as practitioners who focus on body centered therapies. We are also committed to providing the general public with information about the benefits of utilizing cranial therapeutics* in their healing process as well as serving as volunteers treating the public.
It is our desire that practitioners who are moved to join the The Northwest Cranial Association agree with our above written commitments and seek to foster these ideals within their own practice. Additionally, all members shall maintain a license which allows them to do bodywork on clients and have cranial work or craniosacral therapy as part of their practice.
* Cranial therapeutics definition currently encompasses the teachings which are called Osteopathic manipulation, Craniosacral therapy, Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy, Visceral manipulation, Core Synchronism and Biovalance technique. If you have come to learn Cranial through some other avenue not listed here, please contact us to include your studies. We are aware that there are many practitioners who have different experiences that will fall under the Cranial Therapeutics category.
